Since its launch in 2018, Azarus has built a vibrant community and fully-fledged ecosystem around Azarus Challenges, which are Overlay Games that pop up over any livestream, asking viewers a variety of questions about what’s going on in the stream. This thriving community has grown by leaps and bounds as evidenced by the following:

Azarus’ History:

2018: Azarus Launches

It all started in partnership with Ubisoft’s Startup Program at Station F, where Azarus was born with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. Three streamers joined the ride for this first day: Greifdrums, Rogue-9, and coreRoss. Viewership doubled within minutes, and Azarus’ CEO Alex Casassovici even had to increase the server capacity to ensure the games could continue!

2019: Rainbow Six: Siege Pro League

For three consecutive seasons, Azarus was included in Rainbow Six: Siege Pro League streams on the official French and Italian channels.

2019: World of Tanks

Azarus secured a partnership with World of Tanks to add Azarus Challenges to the official North American weekly streams for six months.

2019 For Honor: Warrior’s Den

Since 2019, Azarus has been present on For Honor’s official monthly Warrior’s Den streams.

2019: Tom Clancy’s The Division

Following the launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Azarus partnered with key Australian streamers, including Pestily and BonnieDoll, to help ensure audiences discover this new game while playing Azarus.

2020: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

In this eight hour multi-stream event, BossLogic created digital art to reveal the Viking setting of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla! Twenty streamers took part, including prominent names like Sacriel, Agraelus, Aypierre, Sco, and Siphano. It’s one of Azarus’ most successful events to date– hundreds of thousands of viewers tuned in to watch, totaling over 1.1 million interactions with the Azarus overlay!

2020: Street Fighter Pro League

In collaboration with the Capcom Pro Tour, viewers could play along with Azarus Challenges while watching the Street Fighter League.

2021: For Honor Dominion

Azarus produced a tailored overlay to fit the For Honor branding, offering an immersive experience for fans tuning in to watch and play along during the For Honor Dominion Series Majors.

2022: Streamer Awards

Azarus engaged 500k+ CCV during a 4 hour broadcast on QTCinderella's channel. The audience played Azarus Challenges as winners were announced, quizzing their fandom and earning prizes.

Since its launch, Azarus has had the pleasure of working with some incredible partners and talent. So far, Azarus has built a streamer network with a reach of over 20 million followers. Such partnerships will continue to be a key factor in Azarus’ growth in the future.
